Valentine's Day is a funny ass day. For those who have a special someone, it's a reminder that you share that special bond with the person you like/love. For those who don't....Valentine's Day is one big reminder that YOU'RE SINGLE AS FUCK! So you literally get to watch half of the population get all googly eyed and lovey dovey while the other half walk around and hang their heads, almost in a hypnotic state of depression. It's just funny to see the two extremes.
I'm neutral with V-day. It doesn't bother me too much because I don't participate in it. I stay single and too myself for a reason, like I don't date a lot so that when V-day comes I don't have to worry about spending all my money or stressing him out and on top of that if I don't have a valentine, I don't have to worry about being depressed.
ReplyDeleteI just don't like PDA, so all that lovey-dovey shit can just go the other way. LOL! It is a reminder, that's why I'd rather be young and not have to focus on relationships.
I know I'll have to read depressing tweets and away messages though. That will be a fun day!
