A Nightmare on Parsley Lane..
So i've been havin trouble sleeping lately and moms offered a little suggestion. She told me that if i laid on my back then i'd be likely to fall asleep easier. However, she said that sleeping on your back will almost definitely cause a nightmare. Bullshit rite? Naw...its not..at all.
During these past two weeks, ive been having an EXTREMELY hard time falling asleep so i figured, 'Fuck it, imma just try sleepin on my back bcuz this shit is gettin ridiculous..'. Lemme tell you, every nite that i've done this, a nightmare has occured. So i tested it...i thought maybe it was all coincidence, so one nite, i actually forced myself to sleep on my side again. No nightmare. The night after that, last nite, i slept on my back once more, had another one. Last night's nightmare scared me so bad i almost had to call my shawty! LOL! No lie...i dont know if this applies to everybody, but it certainly applies to me. Wanna test it out? Try falling asleep on your back, facing straight up towards your ceiling. Do it at your own risk tho...i've never had this many nightmares to occur in such a short timeframe ever in my life. I usually only have nightmares once or twice a year..

I was at the park playin ball and i had to hurry up and get my phone out the car to capture this scene. Nothing amazes me quite like nature's natural ability to paint itself. The thing about the sky that really gets me is that it will never look the same twice....EVER.

I once saw a special that talked about how the first U.S. mission to the moon was fraudulent...they said that since the moon supposedly has no gravity, then how in the hell does the flag wave? It made me wonder...if you really think about it...the government keeps so many secrets from us citizens that its ridiculous. That's a fact. So i'm thinkin...outerspace..a place with a nature that is totally oblivious to Earth's inhabitants, do you REALLY think that the government is truthful about how they describe the nature of these distant planets? I doubt it...just somethin random on my mind...do you ever wonder what's REALLY out there? You can't possibly think that Earth is the only planet that can nurture living beings...*weird alien space music begins to play* lol

It's so important to never lose the inner kid that lives inside of you. People that really know me know that i have a pretty colorful sense of humor. I made a promise to myself that i would never lose that. Becoming an adult means to take care of yourself and those you are responsible for. There is no rule in the book of adulthood that says you have to lose your sense of humor. I still make dirty jokes, always have and always will. When you can no longer find that kid that lives inside of you, a piece of you goes missing. Humor reserves life's color, and according to that fact above, it also reserves your physical health.

So, i finally went out to see the highly talked about action-fantasy, Avatar. My God...that movie is great! From the acting, to the story, to it's visual appeal. Without giving away the movie too much, its about the U.S. military going up to this planet called Pandora to bring back this natural resource, Unobtainium, thats worth millions per kilo on Earth. The conflict lies in the governments disturbing the natives of the planet to get to this resource and the story unfolds from there. Go see it. Period.

If the concept in the post below is of interest to you, and i really hope it is, then i VERY HIGHLY suggest that you invest in this book by Rhonda Byrne. It's all about how to use the power of the subconscious mind to create the life of your dreams. If you're not much of a reader, then there's a DVD that gives the EXACT SAME WORD FOR WORD info as the book. In my senior year in high school, i gave a copy of this book to my psychology teacher, and after she read it, she pulled me to the side and told me that i had changed her life. It's that real..
Power
Close your eyes for a second. If you don't feel like closing your eyes, at least just zone out with me for a minute...clear your mind of any and everything. Imagine this being your place of living. Imagine coming home from a long day and flopping on that grey couch. Now imagine the coolness (temperature) of the couch as you let yourself fall on it. See yourself looking out those windows on a clear day in the summer around 7pm...as the sun sets. Imagine the sound of those cabinets as you close em. Run your hand across the texture of the brick laced wall...how does that feel? Imagine havin a great conversation with someone as you sit across from them...a conversation about everything in life...the good, the funny, the exciting...fun. It probably gets pretty cold in here because of the absense of carpet. FEEL that temperature. Hear the sound of a woman's heels as they hit the hardwood floor. HEAR that. This is how you imagine..
This may not be exactly how you'd want your home to look, but i used the above to show you how you should be vividly painting mental pictures of the things you want. When doing so, don't have thoughts of 'This is what i want'. In your mind, remove yourself from your current surroundings and mentally place your being here. It's important to not only think about these details...I REALLY WANT YOU TO LIVE THEM. FEEL THEM. The power of the mind is so strong that its functions can hardly be understood...hear me out..
Have you ever learned a new word, then ALL OF A SUDDEN, that word occurs EVERYWHERE? And you are most certain that you've NEVER heard it before? This is no accident! That phenomenon is real...it occurs everywhere because by you learning that word, you've completely soaked it in, your brain has absorbed it, and that word or concept has become absolute. Its definite. It isn't something that you can remove. Once you learn something, you can never UN-learn it...you may temporarily forget it, but it can never completely be unlearned. The fact that that new entity has become absolute, it has become a part of you, if that makes sense. Therefore, you begin to attract that thing or things like it. This occurence is due to the Law of Attraction (look it up). I'm trying to get you to paint these very vivid pictures so the things you long for can become absolute in YOUR mind. The incredible thing about the brain's powers, is that it does not know to separate fantasy and reality. Therefore constant focus on any one thing will attract that thing to your life. Like i always mention, faking sickness and then really becoming sick is another clear example of that same phenomenon. When you fake sick to get out of a situation, not only do you tell someone that you're sick, but you act it out as well. You walk, talk, and sniff as if you're ill. As i mentioned, your brain knows no difference between real and fake, and whatever you live, you become. It's that simple.
Nothing is ever too big or too unrealistic to bring into fruition. NOTHING. Which is why it is so important to be very clear and very precise as to what you hope to attract. Live your dream life inside your mind. Whatever you want, you can have. If it's to become wealthy, begin to feel wealth...think wealth...and ultimately, you will soon live it. It's the Law of Attraction, it's a perfect law, and it never fails. Take time everyday to escape to your dreams. Many people don't realize the power of the mind, therefore they cannot take advantage of it. Few people around the world understand this concept and implement it in their lives to have whatever it is they want. You know how they say 'Fake it til you make it?' DO THAT.
PS: I've been using this thought concept for the past few years of my life and i've seen some things unfold in my life that i would have NEVER thought was possible in the past...i've SEEN this magic work in my own life...please trust me. You've probably heard that us humans only use about 7% of our brains...how do you suppose you gain access to a higher percentage? I wouldn't be telling you this for no reason..

Reach
At first, i was so reluctant to create a blog because i thought that not many people would be interested in hearing what i had to say...i was told today by someone that they felt the same kinda inspiration from my blog that people get when they read Rev Run's tweets. That meant alot...the number one thing that inspires me in life is love. So the fact that alot of you show love means so much, and the inspiration is reciprocated. Ever since i was a little boy, i've been wanting to help and inspire. Nothing more. For those who feel moved by the things i write, just know that you've truly helped my dreams become reality. I swear to God. A dream come true...even if its only a few of you who check this site out. I realized the magnitude of words long ago...that's when i realized i wanted to reach people with the things i say. The Great Escape
My headphones are amazing...they cancel out noise and are a great way for me to sorta escape. Whenever i recommend music to somebody, the first thing i ask is 'Do you have a pair of headphones?' I ask this question because when i suggest a certain piece of music, i want it to be listened to and not heard. Headphones are great because they allow you to focus on nothing else but the music coming out of them. Listening to music on speakers is cool, but in my opinion, too much outside environment gets in the way of the tune. I'm pretty serious about the way i perceive music, so when i really wanna indulge, i gotta grab my headphones. And for those wondering 'Is it really THAT serious?' Yea man, its THAT serious.

Embrace adversity. How will you ever know to appreciate the life you're grindin for if you don't know how it feels to struggle? Which is why you see people who were born into wealth live frivolously. They have no idea what it feels like to not have quite enough money for this month's bill...or to not have a vehicle to get from point A to point B...or to not be able to afford the latest fashion. Whatever your struggle is, whether its material or non-material, embrace it and know that your strong will shall be enough to elevate you. Without definite will power, don't expect to see your life progress too much. And remember, there's a difference between a wish and a will.

This is a beat that i started but never finished...the drums arent even on a loop, i just went thru and played them live, which is why at points, they may be a little off beat. SUPER rough draft and its nowhere near finished, but i think it sounds dope...imagine falling into a pit that's 4,000 feet deep, lighting a match, and all you see around you are ruby stones...thats what this sounds like..needless to say, my imagination is vivid.

Live
Last nite was my very first time performing on stage...the feeling was...empowering. I had no idea what to expect and it was a pretty big crowd. There's always conflict between me and my mom and brother because she thinks that music is a waste of time...however, last nite, right before i went onstage, i saw them in the crowd. Had no idea they were comin because i didn't tell em when and where. As soon as i heard Crooks say 'T, where you at?', i ran onstage and the rest is history. All nervousness was dead, and for about 7 minutes of my life, i felt famous.

Saturday, January 2 will see Bape fulfil the Japanese New Year’s tradition, of providing fukubukuro (mystery or lucky bags). Bape’s New York and LA stores will, along with Bape’s the US website, release the bags at $200 each – what each bag will contain is of course a mystery, except for the fact that contents will be substantially discounted, in a similar fashion to the bags available at Bape’s pirate stores.
